Vital Earth’s range, which now includes over 30 different garden care products, from good old multi-purpose compost to specialist products, like the first ever peat-free ericaceous compost – is not only peat-free but is actually made from locally-sourced recycled garden waste! In fact, it’s all derived from reprocessing the things we throw out of our gardens - last season’s plants, grass cuttings and hedge clippings – together with some forestry by-products and extra nitrogen from food grade nutrient sources.

That means that up to 90,000 tonnes of garden waste is diverted from landfill, not only reducing carbon and methane emissions
but also sparing up to
200,000 cubic
metres of peat –
equivalent to 20 football pitches
x 1 metre deep.
You can’t get
better recycling
than that!
Glee is the largest annual trade event for the garden, pet and leisure industries. Each September, 22,000 trade visitors meet at Glee over three days, making it the industry’s favourite place to do business.
Along with other stands at Glee, we have designed and managed the first appearance for Vital Earth at Glee with fantastic results.
